Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Federal Skilled Trades Program, applicants generally need to:
Skilled Visa Requirements
- Have eligible skilled trade work experience
- Meet the work experience requirements for the trade
- Meet the required English or French language levels
- Have a valid job offer or Canadian certificate of qualification, as applicable
- Meet the education and other program requirements
- Meet admissibility requirements
- Have sufficient settlement funds, where required
- Qualify for the Express Entry system
